Hotel Airone in Portoferraio is mentioned in the 2009 Michelin Guide

The hotel is situated in front of the splendid fortress, the Rocca Medicea of Portoferraio, in a tranquil area, surrounded by the greenery of a large 30,000 square meters park that extends all the way down to the sea. Each of the hotel's completely renovated 85 rooms in the main building is fully equipped with telephone, TV, private bathroom, hairdryer, adjustable air conditioning, minibar and has either a balcony or garden space. The ground floor hosts the quadruple accommodations that look out onto the park, composed of two rooms: one double and one twin room. On the first floor there are the double and triple accommodations, the latter composed of one double and one single room joined together.

Hotel Airone in Portoferraio also has a renovated private docking wharf.


Residence Aironella near Hotel Airone - Isle of Elba

In the Residence Aironella, a recently renovated farm house, situated only 250 m from Hotel Airone's main building, there are 11 apartments available on request: one, two or three room flats, accomodating from to 2 6 people.

The main building of the hotel has 85 rooms, all entirely renewed, with balcony or garden space. They feature air conditioning (with indipendent control), telephone, TV, private bathroom, mini-bar (upon request) and hairdryer.
